Types of Piercings, Healing, and Care

Ear Piercing

• Areas: Lobes, cartilage (helix, tragus, conch, industrial, rook).
• Healing:
  • Lobes: 6–8 weeks.
  • Cartilage: 4–12 months (depends on the type).
• Care:
  • Clean twice daily with saline solution or a special aftercare product.
  • Avoid sleeping on the pierced side until fully healed.

Nose Piercing

• Areas: Nostril, septum.
• Healing:
  • Nostril: 2–4 months.
  • Septum: 6–8 weeks.
• Care:
  • Use saline solution or aftercare spray, gently remove crusts.
  • Avoid touching the jewelry with dirty hands.

Tongue Piercing
